Summary

Valleywise is looking for a dynamic and self -motivated Medical Staff Services Manager to lead the Medical Staff Services team. This exciting role will supervise specific credentialing medical staff services activities for Valleywise Health to assure compliance with statutory and regulatory bodies, policies and procedures.
Annual Salary Rate: $68,307.20 - $100,755.20
Qualifications
Education:

Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field of work; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.
Experience:

Must have a minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible credentialing or medical staff services related experience that demonstrates a strong understanding of the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Requires prior supervisory/management experience.

Prefer experience in a healthcare setting.
Certification/Licensure:
-
Must have Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) certification.

Dual certification including Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must have knowledge of The Joint Commission, DNV and CMS standards and regulations, medical staff bylaws, credentialing policies, and rules and regulations.

Must have the ability to supervise and coordinate the work of subordinate personnel in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale.

Must be able to communicate effectively and have excellent customer service skills.
