Department: Grants Administration

Schedule: Regular FT 40 Hours Per Week

Shifts: Days

Under the direction of the Director of Grants, the Manager of Grant Operations is responsible for project implementation, management of grant data and budgets.  Responsible for oversight of data, program management, budget, contract compliance, and successful programmatic implementation.  Works with post-award grants to provide essential data and other information used by administrative, programmatic, clinical, and financial areas.  Successfully manages grants by developing project implementation practices for various grants with differing requirements.  Ensures that all grants are conducted in compliance with various contract guidelines and follows appropriate policies and procedures set forth by the contract, department and organizational guidelines in relation to all aspects of data collection and analysis, billing, invoicing, budgeting and project management. 





  • Requires a Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field; or an equivalent combination of training and progressively responsible experience that will result in the required specialized knowledge and abilities to perform the assigned work.  A Master's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred. 


  • Requires five (5) years of related experience which includes experience in grant accounting adminsitration or progressively reponsible expereience with signficant exposure to a full range of billing, data and project management, preferably in a healthcare or public workplace.
  • A Master's degree will substitute for two years of required experience.

Specialized Training:

  • Must successfully complete EPIC software training including Preclude/Cadence for Eligibility Specialists, Preclude/Cadence for registration, scheduling & referrals, Resolute - finance, and EPIC Work Queue.


  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of general accounting, EPIC software and work queue, general accounting and information systems needs, and program management in a healthcare environment.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and have flexibility due to changing priorities.
  • Strong customer service and communications and conflict resolution skills are needed.
  • Must have advanced Excel skills including advanced formulas and pivot tables.
  • Requires knowledge and experience in database management.
  • Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
