In this essential role, you will perform a wide range of administrative and secretarial duties that keep our hospital running smoothly. From managing phones, distributing mail, and preparing reports to coordinating files and supporting leadership staff, you’ll be the go-to person ensuring that daily operations are efficient and well-organized.
 
Duties include, but are not limited to, maintaining files, analyzing computer reports, and performing staff support functions to maximize the efficiency of the department's management and professional staff.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.73 - $29.10

Qualifications
Education:

  • Requires a high school diploma or GED.
  • An associate degree in business-related courses is preferred.
Experience:
  • Requires at least one (1) year of Administrative Assistant related experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certification/Licensure:
  • If you work in an area deemed to require one, you may be required to obtain a fingerprint clearance card. If so, you must present the actual card within 90 days of applying for one. 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Must possess extensive computer skills and be proficient with MS Office suite such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, and Access.
  • Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills both verbally and in writing, including knowledge of basic grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to work with professionals, and maintain confidentiality standards.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet designated deadlines are required.
  • Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English.
  • Creativity, initiative, independent thinking, and problem-solving skills are strongly preferred.
