Are you passionate about shaping the future of healthcare through education and professional development? As a Clinical Practice Educator (CPE), you will play a pivotal role in enhancing clinical excellence and improving patient outcomes across the organization.
In this dynamic position, you will:
- Lead onboarding and orientation programs that empower new staff with confidence and competence from day one.
- Assess clinical competencies and identify continuing education needs to ensure high standards of practice.
- Design and deliver innovative educational initiatives that foster professional growth and lifelong learning.
- Collaborate across disciplines to champion research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement projects.
- Promote a positive, engaging learning environment that inspires clinical excellence and supports career development.
- Work both independently and collaboratively with leadership teams, using sound judgment and seeking input when needed.
Annual Salary Range: $79,913.60 - $117,873.60
Qualifications
Education:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or higher in nursing.
- Prefer master’s degree in nursing.
Experience:
- Requires a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible RN clinical practice or clinical instructor/educator experience that demonstrates a strong understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certification/Licensure:
- Must possess a current, valid AZ RN license, temporary AZ RN license, or valid compact RN licensure for current state of practice.
- Must be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing.
- Requires BLS issued by the American Heart Association.
- BLS Instructor required within six months of hire.
- Requires ACLS provider certification within six months of hire.
- ACLS Instructor certification within 12 months of hire.
- Requires PALS provider certification within 12 months of hire.
- Prefer ATCN or TNCC certification.
- Prefer professional nursing certification such as Nurse Professional Development or clinical area specific (CEN).
- Additional life support instructors or other certifications may be required based on areas of responsibility.
