Schedule: Regular FT 40 Hours Per Week

As a Master’s-Level Associate Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician, you’ll be part of a forward-thinking, interdisciplinary team supporting patients and families through every step of their health journey.
 
Under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator-and with clinical supervision from a licensed behavioral health professional as you work toward independent licensure-you’ll provide essential mental health services within the patient-centered medical home model. What You'll Do:
  • Deliver behavioral health consultations in collaboration with primary care providers, ensuring mental health is integrated into every aspect of patient care
  • Provide a wide range of direct services, including individual and group counseling, psychosocial assessments, case management, and crisis intervention
  • Utilize evidence-based approaches such as:
    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
    • Cognitive Enhancement Therapy (CET)
    • Motivational Interviewing
    • Supportive Therapy
    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
    • Trauma-Informed Care
    • Substance Abuse Counseling
  • Conduct screenings, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress to promote recovery and wellness
  • Serve as a bridge between the clinical setting and the community, ensuring patients receive care that is accessible, responsive, and culturally informed
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary team members-including medical providers, case managers, and community partners-to provide coordinated, person-centered care

Hourly Salary Range: $63,169.60 - $93,184.00
 
Qualifications
Education:
  • Requires a master’s degree in social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy.
Experience: 
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible mental health psychotherapy-related experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Prefer prior experience working in an integrated health care program or conducting mental health assessments and treatments and family support.
Specialized Training:
  • Prefer specialized training in chemical dependency assessment and treatment.
Certification/Licensure:
  • Must obtain fingerprint clearance card as defined in Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S.) 36-425.03 and state licensing rule R9-10-1011(A)(4) within 90 days of employment.
  • Requires BLS through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center within 3 months of hire into position.
  • Must have and maintain licensure by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as either a:
    • Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) or
    • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or
    • Licensed Associate Marriage Family Therapist (LAMFT) or
    • Associate Substance Abuse Counselor (LASAC)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Requires knowledge of chemical dependency and mental health and ability to facilitate individual and family group counseling sessions with a dually diagnosed population.
  • Requires the ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English, including professional-level grammar, spelling, and punctuation usage.
  • Requires expertise in individual, group, and family psychotherapy models. 
  • Knowledge of evidence-supported practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, cognitive enhancement therapy, supportive therapy and motivational interviewing, substance abuse, trauma-informed care, and other modalities specific to integrated care settings.
  • Must be approachable, people-oriented, and a good listener.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and have excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to develop, implement, and maintain policies and processes.
  • Requires the ability to be a creative, independent thinker.
  • Must exhibit a high degree of professionalism, customer service, and enthusiasm.
  • Must possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
