As a Community Health Center Registered Nurse, you will be a vital team member providing exceptional care to our patients. Our clinical team includes nurses, physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and medical assistants. Departments include; pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, HIV/AIDS, internal medicine, and family practice.
We are looking for those registered nurses with a passion for providing care to the underserved population. We have a dynamic, collaborative, friendly staff ready for you to join.
As a Community Health Center Registered Nurse, you will utilize your clinical skills in providing patient care, including activities such as performing patient assessments/reassessments, identifying patient care needs, and implementing the plan of care, obtaining vital signs, administering medications and vaccines, assisting providers with procedures, and communicating with patients both in person and by phone.
Hourly POOL Rate: $51.00
Qualifications
Education:
-
Prefer a Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing.
Experience:
-
Must have at least one (1) years of clinical nursing experience as an RN preferably in outpatient triage, pediatrics, obstetrical and/or medical surgical nursing that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Must be able to float to any two of the three regions:
-
WEST - Avondale, El Mirage, Maryvale, Glendale, Sunnyslope

CENTRAL - McDowell, 7th Ave, South Central, CHC, Sunnyslope

EAST - Chandler, Mesa, Guadalupe

Certification/Licensure:
-
Must possess a current valid AZ RN license; temporary AZ RN license; or valid compact RN licensure for current state of practice.

Must be in good standing with the issuing Board of Nursing.

Requires BLS card obtained through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
-
ACLS, NRP, PALS, Chemo-certified, triage certification, CCRN and/or RNC certifications are strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Must be able to meet the conditions as stated in the employment agreement.

Must have excellent communication, time management and customer service skills.

Requires basic computer word processing skills (e.g. formatting, editing, printing, composing email, internet searches, etc.) to be able to successfully navigate through an electronic medical record using a computer.

Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.

Bilingual is preferred.
