Schedule: Per Diem 4 Hours Per Week

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will be teaming with members of our medical center, the Level One Trauma Center, and the Arizona Burn Center to provide care for our cardiopulmonary patients. You will apply your knowledge and skills to deliver therapeutic and diagnostic services to acutely ill, pediatric, and neonatal patients in the inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room settings.

Hourly Pay Rate: $37.00
This is a POOL position. 
 
Qualifications
Education:
  • Requires graduation from a two (2) year A.M.A. approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
Experience:
  • Prefer six (6) months recent work experience.
Certification/Licensure:
  • Must be registered (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and licensed (or temporary license) by the Arizona Board of Respiratory Care Examiners.
  • Requires BLS or ACLS through an approved American Heart Association (AHA) training center upon hire.
  • Prefer certification in PALS and NALS.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Requires the ability to read, write and speak effectively in English.
  • Knowledge of additional languages is preferred.
  • Must have basic computer knowledge.
  • Must have ability to plan, modify and coordinate respiratory care and treatments.
  • Must be able to administer therapeutic agents and treatments, observe patients and determine effects of treatments, and instruct patients and families in home care.
