Valleywise Health is seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor Desktop Technician to lead and oversee our PC Technician I and II staff. In this role, you will ensure user needs are met, production schedules are maintained, and process improvements are implemented. You will work closely with managers and supervisors to discuss special projects, resolve issues, and enhance change management processes.
This position involves supervising the deployment, maintenance, support, and upgrade of desktop PCs, hardware, software, operating systems, and distributed printers. As a leader in the field, you will contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support the organization’s PC support services.
Annual Salary Range: $65,686.40 - $96,886.40
Qualifications
Education:
- Requires a high school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Computer Information Systems, is preferred.
Experience:
- Requires five years of experience with desktop and printer hardware and software support.
- Prefer two (2) years of demonstrated leadership, personnel supervision, and familiarity with project implementation.
Certification/Licensure:
- Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or submit a completed Affidavit at time of hire. Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. You must present your actual card within 90 days of applying for a fingerprint clearance card.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Requires the ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
- Must have previous experience providing desktop and printer hardware support, including break/fix troubleshooting.
- Must be able to follow procedures for tracking, resolving, and reporting problems through the automated tracking system.
- Must communicate clearly, orally and in writing with user community, teammates and technical personnel.
- Previous management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
